Trier’s frites king now in the TRIER GALERIE’s gourmet land
His homemade sauces are legendary, as are his sweet potatoes, fries, twisters and wedges. And now Fritten Alex has moved from Fleischstraße to the ground floor of TRIER GALERIE and offers his customers everything a gourmet’s heart desires: really good curry sausage, schnitzel and burgers, chicken wings and chicken strips, plus delicious fresh salads, from traditional potato, pasta and coleslaw to smart, light carrot and tomato salad. The secret of his meat quality: “We get everything exclusively from the Herres butchery in Schweich,” says Avtandil Faroyan, alias Fritten Alex, who runs his snack bar as a well-coordinated team with girlfriend Nathalia Mita.
Farmers from the region guarantee species-appropriate, certified animal husbandry and thus excellent product quality. And what makes Fritten Alex so special? “It’s probably our homemade special sauces,” says the boss. “Our customers love the warm sauces Cheese & Bacon, Chili con carne, Bella Italia, but also the cold ones like Sour Creme, Aioli or Andaluz, from spicy savoury to melt-in-your-mouth fresh.” Moreover, at Fritten Alex everything can be mixed flexibly with anything. The main thing is that it tastes good.
